Site Description
Wetlands
The site is a mudflat located at the confluence of the Kokubagawa river and the Nohagawa river running through the southern part of Okinawa Prefecture. Manko is surrounded by residential and urban districts. Recently mangroves grow in clusters in the mudflat area, resulting in the decrease of mudflats.
