Coastline
The coastline facing the Tsugaru straits, about 60 km from the eastern end Shiriyasaki to the western end Ohmasaki consists of sandy beaches and reefs. Along the shoreline, Shiriyazakikaigan coast, Iwayakaigan coast, Ishimochikaigan coast, Ohhatakaigan coast, Shimoburokaigan coast, and Ohmazakikaigan coast, are habitats for wild birds.
